Our Commitments

We understand that starting a fashion brand comes with tremendous responsibility for our planet and society - and we take that responsibility seriously.

These are just some of the issues we are faced with:

Source: good on you

This is why we’ve tried to make our first collection as climate conscious as possible. But there is a long way to go and we are constantly improving and learning day by day. As a brand, we are hoping to progress even further as we grow, and work directly with fabric manufacturers to reduce our impact on the planet and eventually generate enough revenue to join the Sustainable Apparel Coalition - until then, we will try our best everyday.

The Environment

First and foremost we are committed to making fashion greener which is why we only use sustainable or deadstock fabrics and all our trims and packaging are created from reusable materials. (Head over to our supply chain page to see how we ensure an ethical and sustainable start to finish.)

We are also partnered with Ecologi to plant 1 tree with every order you place with us! This helps contribute to sustaining biodiversity and protecting ecosystems, along with funding separate carbon offset initiatives to help us get one step closer to becoming carbon neutral - something we are aiming for in the near future. Visit our virtual forest here to watch us grow and learn more about Ecologi's humanitarian projects.

Circularity

We recognise that buying second hand is the most sustainable way to shop, but we also recognise the need for a middle ground for those who still wish to keep up with the newest trends but do it in a more sustainable way. This is why we are focused on using natural fibres for our fabrics that are biodegradable so they can either be recycled or composted. We also hope to introduce a resale platform directly on our website so customers can list their items and allow them to have a new life with someone else. So stay tuned!

Diversity and Inclusivity

Our size ranges from XS-L but we hope, as we grow, we will be able to offer an even bigger size range. Trust us when we say, once we can afford it, we will implement it.

For our models we aim to use a range of sizes, ethnicities and disabilities. To begin with our own founder, Cat, wanted to model the collection herself as she has scoliosis which affects 2-3% of the population. Having rarely seen scars on models this was an important step. As a result she recognises the need for inclusivity and awareness and the importance of complimenting our uniqueness with clothing.
